How to replace a fragment with another fragment in Android?

Can I replace a broken android with an iPhone?

  • I switched from an iPhone to the Samsung Infuse. At first I was astounded by it's performance until it had a bug. It would reboot on it's own every once in a while so I did a factory reset and updated the software. Now it gave me the same problems but even worse. Now it stays looping at the Samsung Logo. I would like to replace it. I have a warranty but would they allow me to get an iPhone instead? Even if it's not the newest model, the 4S?

nice answer blackbear! In addition, you dont happen, by any chance, use a Task Killer... do you? LOL LOL LOL If you do, then it explains it all... Android 2.0+ doesnt need a task killer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why morons at OEMs and Wireless carrier think it still android 1.5/1.6 is beyond my comprehension. Like Iphone IOS, Android freeezes background apps and "puts then to sleep"/closes then automatically. Using a Task Killer kills android system app natural processes.... thus leasing to buggyness and out-right horror film scenes...... Warranty will replace it with another free Infuse for the next 3 replacements. On the 4th replacement, you will get a free like-value model phone... But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Iphone. Sprint/Verizon/ATT cannot promote Iphones or further discount them... complaints on this can be sent to Apple. If you dont use a Task Killer, the read on.... The Infuse is a midgrade android by Samsung. Its not entry level, but is not a teir 3 smartphone or a teir 4 superphone. So it requires user maintenance. They should be rebooted once a night... also a wipe of its cache it also recommended.... 1-Click Cleaner is awesome for this job... also huge text threads must be deleted or at least backup to the SD card by SMSbackup app so its off the internal memory. Call history---same---delete it all or backup... 1-click cleaner is awesome. it will do it all.... Lastly.... I just wanna add this.... Boot-loops are not a common thing on ANY Android make/model/teir phone......... If your in boot-loop, which you are, then YOU did something Android didnt like.... such as using a Task Killer.... mis-step root or ROM flash procedure (you said you didnt, so ok)... or low RAM / memory issues (again-- teir 1 and 2 phones NEED maintance)..... I would suggest a RSD back to unrooted stock ROM... but your not rooted so Recovery Mode is not an option. So... either 1) get a free Infuse replacement... or cough up $399+new 2yr contract for an Iphone early upgrade good luck

Warranty will only replace the phone after 3 or 4 replacements and only with a LIKE phone that the carrier feels is an equal to the phone you had, and the iPhone will NEVER be considered a replacement (because the carriers that have it, make too much money with it). This boot looping would not be because you ROOTED the phone and attempted to flash a ROM to the phone that wasn't meant to be flashed to your phone? Or from not following the correct steps to flash a ROM to your phone?

No. A warranty replacement is the identical make and model unless one is not available and then, it's a comparable phone. An iPhone will never, ever be considered a comparable phone.
