Does the instyler damage your hair?

Does the Instyler (hair straightener) damage your hair?

  • I wanna get it but it says its iron, is that bad for your hair?

  • Answer:

All heat products are going to damage hair. All. If you use the proper protection and take good hair, you'll be fine! And the Instyler as far as I'm concerned is much better for your hair rather than a straightening iron because the hair is always rotating. But it's your call.

yes it can damage your hair because it uses heat to straighten the hair, if you want good results and less damage in your hair you should get a better hair straightener. I recommend you the one I use, it's the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Styling Iron, it heats up to 460f with temperature control, worldwide voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. You can check it out at http://www.safrons.com/karmin-g3-salon-pro-professional-100-pure-tourmaline-ceramic-flat-iron.html or check out the reviews at http://flatironsreviews.com . It works pretty well with any type of hair, plus it keeps my hair shiny, frizz less, soft and super straight, and it causes less damage to the hair. I hope this helps and good luck. :D

You have to 'break the back' of the hair make it give up being curly. Sounds like damage, to me.
