Can I sell something on EBAY with a unverified paypal account?

  • I've seen multiple questions like these, but i never got the answer I'm looking for. Yesterday when i never had a paypal account i have bought several things of ebay before, my feedback is at 100% that 18 people have left. Today i signed up for a paypal account, put my credit / debit card on there as well. I put up my first ebay listing of two extra concert tickets i had. My account is unverified, and no bank account attached, will i get paid? Should i take down the listing until I'm verified? Do i need to add my bank account on paypal?

    Nothing to worry about, you can still receive payment. The verification process is basically to prevent money laundering, so it will limit how much money you can withdraw until you are verified. If you have no problem adding your bank account I would go ahead and do it, will make things much easier.
