What are medical reasons to get a nose job?

I want to get a nose job???best answer will get 10 points[long,please read]?

  • I'm 14 and I know I want a nose job,you see my nose has a hump(and to top it all its crooked),and plus its kinda big since I'm bulgarian and have the 'european nose'..so trust me its ugly..so many people have comented on it,scratch that EVERYONE has!!!!!!!!my neighbors 13 year old bro was like 'you have a mans nose'..I know I know,I have to respect myself and all,and I DO!its just this one insecurity about me..it gets to me..I just want to make me feel better about myself..this isn't for anyone else but myself..I just want to boost my self esteem..so what's a good age to get one?what's the youngest age to get one?and what's the best?coz I heard from some surgens you have to be over 14(I saw this on a site)..and others say 16?and some say 18?and many say 20's..I really want to get my nose job soon..I don't want to stay like this till my 20's..o and I have trouble breathing too..I can only breath from one side or the other at certain times..(This is also a good reason why I want one)..I think its called deviated septom?and people say when you get a rhinoplasty it helps you with your breathing?fyi my nose has always had this problem..please help?what's a good age to get it?16?14?18?17?when?best answer gets 10 points

    well to start off, you're only 14 sweetheart. this really isn't something you should be thinking about right now, you should deffinately give it time to make sure it is exactly what you want because it's a really big step to take. secondly females don't tend to stop growing until they're about 17 or even 18 so getting it done any earlier then that could be a risky idea. if i were you i'd give it a few years (until you're done growing) until you do anything irrational and on the plus side you'll have some more time to make sure it's what you want to do. --best of luck to you and whatever decision you decide to make, :)

there is no such thing as "the european nose"... there's many shapes and sizes... we have germanic noses, roman noses, balkan noses, french noses, jewish noses and so on. the kind of schnoz you describe is most common in eastern europe and france. barbara streisand sports the same model. but i'm not from that area so mine's pretty smooth and rather attractive i dare say.

Honestly your only 14 your face just might grow into your nose that's what happens most of the time, but if its to the point where you cant breath then that's a serious problem and it should be fixed, i saw on a website that you have to be 16 or older to get any kind of plastic surgery done in the US
