Best places to visit in Southern California?

Hello! My birthday is tomorrow and my boyfriend and I are looking for something to do in Southern California. We recently relocated from east coast so we aren't very familiar with the area. We love to hike and sight see and we are both photographers. Any recommendations would be great. Thank you!

You could hike to the Hollywood Sign . Makes for a great photo op . Right next to that is Griffith Park & Griffith Observatory . Runyon Canyon & Malibu Creek State Park also some ideas . Catalina Island is great . That alone has much to offer . Hiking , camping , glass bottom boat , snorkeling , etc. etc. Horseback riding check out Sunset Ranch Hollywood Stables .
