Ingrown toenail treatment HELP?

I have an ingrown toenail! HELP?

• Ok so I have recently had an ingrown toenail on my left toe which the doctor is cutting out next week for me, BUT, on my right toe, in the last week has developed another ingrown :( so immediatley when i realised i soaked it in water and put a cotton bud under the corner of the nail. This relieved the pain and redness very quickly, so i have been continuing to do this every day (even though some days it wasnt red or very sore) because i deffinatley dont want it to end up like my other toe! this morning when i got up i realised that the base of the toe is now the problem. It is very sore and in the corner of my toenail (at the bottom, not the top) it has become 'bubbly' kind of like a blister. It is white, not red, and just one (not numerous) so i tired to lift the toenail to relieve the pressure but the whiteness is at the bottom edge of my toe as well as the side edge (connected to my toe...) and there is no way for me to relieve that pressure. i have soaked it in warm salty water and i am not sure if i should stick to putting the cotton bud just at the top edge of my toe or get it as far down as possible (this is what i have been doing, last night especiall, which could be why it hurts so much maybe?). Anyway ive done alot of research but nothing confided to the bottom of the nail. PLEASE HELP. I really don't want to have to have 2 cut out at the doctor!

  I think your best chance is to have that ingrown toenail removed as well. It won't go away on its own, and will just continue to be problematic.
