Can someone help with Quadratic Graphs please?

I need help with algebra I please.?

  • i am on 10-1 practice :quadratic graphs the question is graph each function, the problem is : Y=1/3x squared so like 1/3x2 <but the 2 is little> and you have to plug in for x, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2. and then you get Y. i know how to graph once i get Y but how do i multiply this when there is a fraction. i dont know if i am even making sence can someone please help.

  • Answer:

    y = (1/3)x^2 x.....x^2.....(1/3)x^2 -2 4 4/3 or 1.333 -1.....1........1/3 or 0.333 0......0..........0 1......1........1/3 or 0.333 2 4.........4/3 or 1.333 1/3 times x^2 can be written as1/3 X x^2/1 =(1 X x^2) / 3 X 1) To multiply two fractions, just multiply top by top, then bottom by bottom
