Do i get free Blackberry Messenger?

OK so im gon to buy a Blackberry Curve 9300 3g on contract. It has unlimited texts, 200mins, and 100MB data. Does this mean I will have free blackberry messenger (bbm)? It is £18.50 per month so I dunno bout it but some other question answers say you need a £5 bolt on or something. And say if I brought it and went on bbm without knowing if it was free, would I instantly loose money- its on contract? I just want to make sure so thanks for answering! :-)
