How do I transfer old emails to Yahoo?

How can I transfer my folders and 100s of old emails from Gmail to Yahoo?

• What's the best and easiest way to transfer all of the E-Mails I have accumulated in Gmail to a new Yahoo account? Most of them are in the Inbox, but I also have a few other folders I want to move as well. By doing this, will any new E-Mails I receive automatically be transferred to the new Yahoo account or will I have to notify the senders of all those E-Mails to change the E-Mail address?

  There is no simple way to do this, sorry. No, the senders do not get notification of a change of email address. You would need to transfer your CONTACTS from one to the other - and then send them an email letting them know of the move. Even transferring the 100s of old emails can't really be done. You would need to upgrade to Mail Plus, then try to move them by "popping" them. And this will likely only work for your INBOX, not for other folders.
