Is there a jack i can buy to turn a tape recorder microphone into a regular microphone?

I was cleaning up my grand fathers house and I found a Sony One Point Sterio Dynamic Microphone that fits all home tape recorders. I've been wanting to buy a microphone for a long time now, and I was thinking is it possible to buy some kind of jack or something that I can attach to the microphone so that I can use it as a normal microphone?

That is a nice mic! It really depends on what you are connecting it to. It has the standard 3.5mm connector (like ipod headphone connector) so it might work with your computer right now. Try it on the mic input on your computer. Bear in mind that this mic may be designed to work with the tape recorder, so if you fit a different jack and amplify it through a mixer/amplifier, it may not be very loud. There may be other possibilities, but I think if you rewire it, the two signal wires ( the ones that are not earthed) should be shorted together so it works as a mono microphone in most mixers.
