How do you block a number on the iPhone?

How can I block a number on my iPhone 4 with MTN-SA?

I recently dated this person an I just broke up with him. I haven't met this guy before as he is over seas and I was thinking of wether he like put a tracker on me (I worry alot) as he has my cel number. Please help me or give me info. I don't want to call my service provider and block because my phone is on my parents name. I have an iPhone 4 and I'm with MTN South Africa. I heard that you can download an app on the iPhone if you guys have any clues let me know as possible so I would stop worrying. Thanks:)
