What are the subjects for mechanical engg. in diploma first year?

    its depends on the councils.u don't give any information about college,university or board.so i cant give the exact information.but generally in 1st year most council focus in basic science and mathematics not to in core engineering. although there may be 1 or 2 sub of basic engineering.like engineering drawing,engineering mechanics,strength of material etc.
