What audition song would be good for?

What is a good audition song for a a girl? I'm 14 :)?

  • Hi :) I'm Megan. I want to audition for The Voice this year, but I have no idea what to sing for the open call audition. I'm not too experienced with singing, or music for that matter, so I don't really know what I am. Like, a soprano or alto or whatever. My voice is lower, but I can go up the scale a bit. I don't know what you would call it. But I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good audition songs for my kind of voice? And what's appropriate for a 15 year old girl to sing? I would really appreciate it if you could help me out here. Thanks lovelies! :)

    No way of knowing what'd be good, can you bring emotion, are you country,rock Pop I'm a 14 year old guy and If I'd audition I'd sing songs that were hard like Adele - Rolling In The Deep Jessie J - Mamma Knows Best Christina Aguilera - Hurt Kelly Clarkson - Behind These Hazel Eyes Carrie Underwood - Blown Away (this one's pretty easy) Beyonce - Listen Mariah Carey - Hero Just experiement and see what fit's your voice, I'm guessing you're a contralto just a guess...anyway just practice and make sure it's something your voice suits
