SONY PSP 1000 Question.?

Hi, I was wondering if there was a mic for the psp 1000, I have looked but can't seem to find one. There is a psp mic on amazon, however this is apparently only compatible with the psp 2000 and psp 3000. Would I have to buy a completely new psp (psp 3000 built in mic) to get a mic? or is there a headset mic for the psp 1000? Thanks.

There are microphones available for the PSP 100 but I'm not too sure if they are still in stores. But unfortunately,that was 4 years ago.
