Where Is Packet Lunchbox?

Where are the CSU/DSU modules in Packet Tracer?

  • I'm trying to set up a 15-16 location network ranging from 4 different states. There is a central location that is doing the routing itself. Is it possible to configure a router, or multiple routers, to do the routing and if so, where are the CSU/DSU modules for the routers?

  • Answer:

Won't find any labs because all Cisco routers use WIC connections (WAN Interface Card) The WIC is an integrated and managed csu/dsu for T1 lines (as an example) Haven't you noticed that when you add a connection to a router (in packet tracer) it only gives you copper ethernet, fiber, and serial connections? -------------------------- each lan port on the router will be its own segment so I don't fully understand your statement "There is a central location that is doing the routing itself. Is it possible to configure a router, or multiple routers, to do the routing" I suggest getting familiar with interior and exterior gateway protocols
