Why the download link of MediaFire is not working?

  • I have a problem that the download link of MediaFire is not working if there's a problem with javascript errer, javascript;void(0) and the title on the link "Preparing Download...". Then later it will refresh the page, I can't download any files in MediaFire anymore because of "Preparing Download..." button when there is javascript;void(0) error. Can anyone find the solution for it?

    try this: on the mediaFire page, go to the source page (Ctrl+U) or (right click, view page source) then search (Ctrl+F), and type this: acv= when in the highlighted section, look for something like this: {var aCv="<a href='http://205.196.120.241/050w9k45akt… copy the link http://205.196.120.241/050w9k45aktg/d32efy2l7zngr8s/Lacey+Clover.7z to your browser address bar. it's working for me, hope it's working for you too...

It happened to me also. it happens when the server is being busy. so server was not able to prepare the download link for you. so it will refresh the page again , you can see a number increasing at the end of URL . that is the count that the sever receives the request and trying to prepare the Download link. most of the time this is because slow internet connection or network becomes too congested ..

i am in the same situation. here comes a user in Taiwan. in the past few hours, i could do nothing with the links of Mediafire. i have no idea what was going on with it. i hope everything will get better later.

i still don't know how this happened.. i was enjoying downloading files yesterday and today, all i see is just "Preparing for Download" then nothing.. I tried to download the same file from m friend's pc and still, i'm having the same result.. but i can download some files but mostly it all goes wrong.. maybe it was a connection issue or something.. ><

yeah, I also had the same problem with u n after several times try, it still not work. I tried to find other solution fm net n some guy wrote that to solve this problem just click the login link in upper right corner then the download link will show up but this is a lame solution.

These days I am also having problems with the download in mediafire who always says "Preparing for download", then I try to login. And after the login problem "Preparing for download" does not happen again. Maybe you can try.
