Should I trust a restock Seagull guitar?

• I've been considering getting a Seagull S6 for months and now I see that my chosen musical instruments website is carrying "restock" models for $299. The guitar originally retails at around $420. Seagull is know for having insanely high standards and quality control but is it worth the risk? I'm asking the question to anyone who has bought restock instrument before but specifically from this company would help. Thanks!

Hmmm..."Restock products may have scratches, dents, signs of use, or other forms of cosmetic damage that do not affect playability or performance. They may also have worn or non-original packaging. Restocks may have been returned to the factory by customers or retailers for a variety of reasons and have been reviewed, repaired, or repackaged by the manufacturer for resale at a reduced price. Standards of quality vary from one manufacturer to the next." There are an awful lot of reasons a guitar might be returned - anything from bad sound, to a cosmetic blemish, to the bridge coming off, to a bad neck angle. I think you would need to talk to Seagull to know for sure what standards the refurbs have to pass. To me it basically sounds like a used guitar that may or may not have repaired problems, and you would need to inspect the guitar personally to tell whether it was something you wanted.
