What are my chances of transferring to Villanova?
-
Hi I'm going to be a sophomore in college next year, but I want to transfer to Villanova. I was just wondering what my chances are of getting in. I'll start with my high school information and then my college information. High school: South Jersey SAT: 1820, math:570, reading:620, writing:630 GPA: 97.6 out of 100 weighted Rank: 70 out of 632 I took 5 AP classes and the rest of my classes were honors classes except for three. My ECs were softball manager junior year, I started running track my senior year but I was a captain, I was inducted into the National Honors Society, I was in Interact, Spanish club, Renaissance, I volunteered at my local hospital two times a week for a total of 8 hours each week and I participated in various community service activities. College information: Rowan University Major: Psychology GPA: 3.87 out of 4.0 (fall and spring semester) ECs I'm running cross country and track at Rowan and I'd like to continue that at Villanova so im a student athlete, I still participate in numerous community service activities like volunteering to set up for local races and charities and volunteering at the hospital. So would I have a good chance of being accepted as a transfer for the fall semester? I'm praying I do because I'd love to go there!!

Answer:
No way! Is Ringo still coaching at Rowan? I was going to run at Rowan but then I decided on a different school. I think you have a good shot at Villanova. It's a great (incredible expensive school) but I wish I went there. You GPA is great, and your high school info is phenomenal! You should definitely apply, if you haven't already. P.S. what are you planning on doing with psychology? That is my major too, ironically! I'm not exactly sure what my plan is yet.
