Is the nissan versa a good car?

Is the Nissan Almera an old man's car? Also, would it be a good first car?

  • Regarding the N16 model pictured in the link: http://www.webautonet.ru/images/upload/Nissan-model-Nissan_Almera_II_Hatchback_N16.jpg My housemate seems to think that this car is a bit of an old man's car. My dad has one and from being in it I know that I'd enjoy having one of my own. What Car? recommend the 1.5 litre petrol model which puts the car in category 4E which is fairly cheap to insure. Would it be a good first car though? It's fairly large but given that I'm at university for the next four years, I felt I should buy a more mature looking car that I could essentially grow up with. I'm currently 19.

  • Answer:

Kind of, it is. But if you like that car, then you should get it. Here's some of my recomendations: -Toyota Matrix (similar to the design of the Almera) -Honda Fit (similar to the design of the Almera) -Mazda3 -Mazda6 -Mazda Protege -Corolla -Civic -Nissan Sentra -Suzuki Aerio These are all great cars. I tend to like Japanese cars as they're superior and more reliable, but that's just me.

Since you are familiar with this type of car & thinking about getting one, why not buy your Dad's car.You know the history of it so you won't be surprised by repair needs as you would with an unknown vehicle. Besides,You father really needs to treat himself with a new car.
