What do i do if my mom wont let me try out for cheerleading ?

  • Okay so my school is having cheer-leading tryouts, and they're coming up in a couple of days and i really want to try out ! But my mom wont let me. She says its a great sport but the thing is that they have very strict rules and i am committed to following them but we also have to go through summer camp in the summer and my mom doesn't like it so what should i do in order to convince her to let me tryout ?

i am a cheerleader myself. i had won the nca nationals last year and let me say thats was the best thing ever! summer camp is one of the best things in cheer you get to do. my dad was mad a first that i wanted to do cheer since it costed so much but just ask. if its something you really want to do tell her that. cheerleading is a very dangerous sport. i had personaly had a broken nose and bad wrists and joints. but DONT think of it like that. just tell her that you really want to do it and you can show her that you are able to do it. good luck and don't forget to smile, have fun, and point your feet!
