How do I start my own clothing line? ?

  • I'm 18 and I love clothes. I am an avid photographer and I have been photographing for years. I want to take the pictures I have taken and put them on tshirts and get my name out there. And then I want to make cut see button up shirts and pants and even shoes. But where's a good place to start? Im getting a settlement of about 10,000$ from a car accident and I want to put this money towards making a bussiness. Making money has always been a passion for me. I used to buy things in bulk from somebody and sell it for double my money at school. Can anybody help me on where and how I should start a clothing line?

    Put the money towards school or classes for clothing design and they will probably tell you what equipment you will need and give you the training to get started. Also, a sketchbook and some graphite pencils might be a good start.

Get in contact with some clothing manufacturers. They will tell you what you need to do. Also, you will have to form a business. I suggest an LLC. Be sure to have someone take care of the accounting work also. But first I would make sure that I am making money.
