Why can't my dental bonding be removed?

Can a crown be removed without breaking it or can bonding be added to it ?

  • Iam so sick with worry, can the crown i got yesterday that feels very wrong be replaced without breaking it or can they add a tiny bit of bonding to make it little higher ? thanks so much! I have asked a few questions on this already but not sure if there is a dentist that can help me out...thanks

Just had one re-cemented Monday. You need a dentist to do this or you can destroy an expensive crown. The dentist can make a small adjustment and I will feel fine. The smallest amount out of adjustment makes is feel like a rock. If the crown was just cemented just have you dentist adjust it.

Hi there, The dentist usually makes it a little lower so that the crown in out of your bite. This way it wont take such a hard impact when chewing, as nothing is as strong as your own natural tooth. By keeping it out of the bite, your crown will have the best chance of staying there a long time, they don't last forever.
