Can a christian join the french foreign legion or any other military? Can a christian join the french foreign legion or any other military? are there any quotes in the bible that say it's alright? some people tell me that being in the military is being of the world and not of God. (the bible says to be inthe world but not of the world) would a christian lose his salvation if he joined for adventure or excitement( but also to save lives)? Thanks. btw i'm talking about a real christian( not just somebody who was raised in a christian family and calls himself one). i mean someone who wants to do what's right in God's eyes. and i'm not asking if they would reject me for my religion( cause i know they wouldn't). I'm asking if i would eventually be led to compromise my values. Thanks.

i'm a Christian and I can't see anything wrong with it. Yes ofcourse killing people etc. Isn't very good, but you are serving your country. I mean, in the Bible certain ''countries'' fought with eachother. I believe that if you pray about it, you will know what to do.... God will lead you, but I really don't think it's wrong or something like that.
