What is a dream really?

Really weird kind of scary dream about my crush, I have no idea what this means?

• A little background info before you continue: I'm a girl and I have a terrible crush on another girl who's been a little more than friendly towards me. I just got out of a terrible long term relationship almost a month ago. But I told my crush how I felt about her and she turned me down. I guess I was kind of okay with that so I wouldn't have to live with "what if". She told me I'm really sweet, and funny, and all this other stuff I cant remember right now but she said she didn't feel the same. I'm not sure if it's because she just got out of a relationship herself (which she did) or what. But the way she acts towards me...is friendly+. She treats me different from her friends. Idk but onward! I spoke to her once since and tried to take back what I said, but i got the impression that she was glad I told her she kept reassuring me and telling me that it was ok...I don't know. I'm kind of over it until I see her and I freeze up. I last saw her tuesday afternoon (i just saw her from across a big room, she didnt see me but it freaked me out) and had my dream wednesday night. In my dream I went over to her house with one of my friends who knows about the whole thing and when we walked in I saw a lot of her relatives. They all spoke some weird foreign language. The women in the household were very friendly and welcoming while I think two men were giving me a look like "wtf". I came into her room. It was a super huge room with vaulted church like ceilings and green and white walls. She was sitting on her bed with her ex boyfriend who (and this is the weird part) was shrunk down to the size of a midget, very emaciated, and completely nude with a rose tattoo on his left buttock (i dont know why)....my friend stood in the doorway while her ex completely bowed down on her bed in some submissive gesture facing the foot of the bed. She sat on his right side. i sat on the left, where I saw the rose tattoo. She talked to me from the right side of her ex while I answered back from the left...like some weird sort of table. At first the rythm of our conversation was awkward and fast paced often cutting each other off mid sentence, her ex turned around a grinned at me then went back to bowing. I don't really remember what happened after that but she got up from the bed and turned on her television, I was watching her i guess because when I looked back at the bed her ex was gone. She pressed some weird device to her stomach and then a picture of an ultrasound appeared on the screen but it didn't look quite normal, but it was a picture of me crawling around the inside of her stomach except I was a toddler (and this image of me I've seen a dozen times in my own family photo albums but not recently, I don't understand why I was dreaming about it). We didn't say anything and it took me awhile to realize what it was but when I did I seemed ok with it, I was so ok with it that I almost fell asleep on her bed until she looked over her shoulder at me and turned off the video. She pulled out a thin electronic pad (kind of like an ipad but thinner) and two black metal sticks and began drumming on the pad (kind of like some weird version of rockband) she was really excited about it and began laughing a lot and called me over from her bed. I looked very supportive and happy, we laughed a lot and then my friend from the doorway came to join us we played for awhile and then she walked me to my car and then I woke up...yeah so I have noooo idea what any of that means. But please help me out here I really like her. Serious answers only
