How come I can't e-mail people in Sbcglobal?

How come people can email me but I can't email them on Yahoo Answers?

• People on here send me email every once in awhile, they haven't been malicious, yet, but whenever I try to respond to them, or whenever I try to email somebody else who allows it, as soon as I click on it it says OOPS. THE ACCOUNT HAS BEEN USED. Or something like that.

  You have to ENABLE your own email to be able to email other Yahoo members. Click your avatar, then click the "Privacy and Communications" tab, Somewhere under the Privacy and communications tab there will be a button you can click that will enable YOUR email. You set up a Yahoo email account when you joined Yahoo, but YOU have enable YOUR OWN email to other Yahoo members BEFORE you can email other YA community members. I've UN-enabled my email on this account because I got too many emails from trolls whose user names were "?"
