How to change Adobe Photoshop CS5 Photocopy Filter settings?

  • I have been using Adobe Photoshop CS5 to make Black & White Photos. I have been using the "Photocopy" Filter but today I opened Photoshop and the "Photocopy" filter now changes the photos to Black background instead of White. I some how inverted the colors and I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know how to do this? Examples of issue: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3804429265490.2166239.1120136748&type=3

    Why are you using that filter? Have you ever tried the black & white adjustment layer, instead? You get so much control to really tweak the most out of your image that way.

There's no way to "invert" the colors (either on purpose or by mistake) using the photocopy filter. You can invert the colors BEFORE you apply the filter (CTRL + I), so maybe that's what happened?

When you are in the filter interface, there are two sliders; slide the "darkness" slider to the right, and the background will get whiter. Peace.
