How can i get wifi through bluetooth on my phone?

What wifi download can i get to have my smart phone be a hotspot?

I would like to update my phone to a smartphone, and get an app so i can get the internet on my home computer. Someone said if you have wifi on your computer you can make your smartphone a hotspot. Right now I don't have wifi on my computer now so i want to download wifi. is there a certain wifi version or download that would apply to this application? I know nothing about wifi or apps. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!!

Wifi Tethering isn't a smartphone feature as not all smartphones have this features... Black Berries have a USB Tethering feature and been doing this for more then 7 years now... The best thing you can do is to buy a phone that supports Wifi Tethering (hotspot). As like the guy said before me... ain't possible... Although soon SmartPhones will be like PC and you will be able to port Open Source OS on them adding to varieties.
