I can't figure out what this anime is called.?

I can't figure out what this anime is called. I have watched the beginning of it and my computer crashed before I could finish it. I've been trying to find it on the net forever with key words. It's all english sub, and is a weird but awesome anime about a girl who kills things with a knife and has fake arms. She always wears a Kimono and has a guy friend with short black hair and glasses that is all I remember lol. I just know I really wanted to finish it. I know that isn't very much info but is there anyone out there at all who has any idea of which anime I'm talking about? It is not a very well known anime and I know the title is jap and not english.
