Where do cons get their ideas on poverty?

  • they talk A LOT about it, yet rarely ever citing their strange ideas? I often see them talk about how welfare and social programs hold people down and create more poverty... yet nations with social programs almost always have lower poverty rates that those that do not? how is this possible? if it increases poverty, then shouldn't these nations have the highest rates in the WORLD? and how poverty was transient before social programs? no cycle of poverty without social programs, right? but...AGAIN nations with few social programs OBVIOUSLY have huge portions of their population who have lived in GENERATIONAL POVERTY FOR MANY YEARS? where do you even come up with this stuff? do you have any actual facts to back it up?

It's just talking points. Liberals have them too. No less poorly defined, either. The truth is, poverty exists because we've created and upheld a dead economic system that only exists, indeed thrives, via poverty. Continuation of the system is a continuation of poverty (now globally). And both conservatives and liberals are diehard members of this dead system.

Well it is either poverty for all or a few. Look at Greece , France Spain. Which would you prefer? You live in a fantasy world.
