A levels to become a music/record producer?
-
I would love to be a music/record producer, however I have already chosen and half way through my GCSEs and when I chose them I did not have a music/record producer in mind. I chose - Geography, Business Studies and ICT. I was wondering that when I come to A Levels which should I choose to push me forward towards Music Production and what I should do. I cannot play an instrument, but would love to do a music theory (if there is such thing) where you do not play instruments just maybe listen and review music (not sure if this exists) Any ideas guys? Thanks

Answer:
Music A Level involves a lot of composition and performance. I'd recommend to do the production in your spare time and start out doing mixes locally or with stems over the internet for free, then hope you get well known enough to be able to start charging and making a living from it. Who you know is important. Good luck!
