Why is there total incompatibility between sustainable development and high levels of economic growth?
-
Apparently sustainable development and high levels of economic growth cannot co exist, apparently one undermines the other. why is this?? Please and thank you :)

Answer:
The results are highly dependent an action and reaction = we tend to over react to change which sometimes accelerates the that change and others to the point of unworkable. When we see it is not working we over-react = boom and bust. In theory we can manage our economy for steady growth without the excesses, but so far we have not succeeded for the long term. The foreign entanglements make success unlikely. Neil
