What is the best PC RPG game out for now?

What Single Player RPG/FPS game do you guys recommend? (PC)?

  • First of; I liked and played these: Skyrim, Assassins Creed Revelations & Brotherhood, Mass Effect 2&3, Crysis 2, Witcher 2. Games I did not like: Deus Ex Human Rev. ( I dont like that Splinter Cell-style of gaming) Fall Out 2( Just, didn't like it as soon as I was out of 101, too grey maybe), Bioshock 2 (Too weird ) I like action, in form of FPS with quite some weapons and gears ( exception; Crysis 2) but also as RPG where I can just freely run around and do quests. And gather artifacts or so. What's also really important to me is Graphics, I want it realistic, not that WoW or Kingdom of Amalur kind of graphics. A bit more mature.. The one that says the game which I will eventually play, will get 'Best Answer' !

    Thats cutting it slim.... I'm surprised you don't like Fallout, since its just Skyrim with guns. Maybe you would like Dragon Age, its made by Bioware ( Mass Effect ). Though its looks like WoW and Kingdoms. Or possibly Borderlands? Its an FPS/RPG ( Though its graphics aren't too mature )

Dead Space (original) £9.99 Doom 3 £13.99 Half life (any of them they are all good) £6.99 is the highest priced one Portal (1 and 2) £5.09 Hard reset (FPS but with no/minimal story, just mindless violent fun :D) £12.99 Mass effect (original (not 2 and 3 before you point out you have already said you had played them) £9.99 Fallout 3 (never played fallout 2 so cant compare) £14.99 Borderlands (not the kind of graphics you said but still very striking and not childish) £19.99 Crysis (original (way better than the second one)) £9.99 Just Cause 2 (just run around, do missions and blow stuff up) £13.99 And all can be found on steam so you can play them right now ;D

First Person RPGS: Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Way different than the first two Fallouts. Oblivion is fun. Morrowind is fun, but it has a lot more reading than Skyrim. System Shock 2- It is great. If you don't play this before you die, shame on you. FPS- Battlefield 3 Battlefield Bad Company 2 Halo 1 and 2
