What is the small hole in the casing of a Bic biro for?

My Skyteam 200cc pit bike chain jammed on the front sprocket and made a hole in the side of the engine casing?

  • Now that I have a hole in the side of my engine casing it rapidly leads a lot of oil, I've tried fixing it using Gun Gum and it never worked. I was going to try using Liquid Metal but quite sure that wont work either and it can't be welded... Do I replace the engine casing? If so, where do I get the right one for my Sky-team 200? Any help will be much appreciated. Please help, many thanks, Neal!

  • Answer:

This is a job for JB Weld. Lay the bike on the side w/o the chain. Clean area with break cleaner and try not to get any epoxy in the engine. I would do a little at a time and give it time to cure before the next layer. If it doesn't work all your out is some time, oil and the cost of the epoxy. I would try and figure out if the chain stretched or was just out of adjustment.
