Can you get a job at 15?

Can I get a job at 15 if i'm not in school currently?

• So.. I know that in Oklahoma, you can have a workers permit at 14. They check up with your grades and stuff, and they use that to help decide if you keep the job. Like if you're failing a class or something, you get fired because you need to focus on your grades or something. I'm 15, and I'm out of school currently, and there's like 15 days left of school for people that are actually in school. I've been out for the past couple months, and am going to a new school next fall. So my question is, can i still get a workers permit and a job even if im not in school? Cause if you think about it, in the summer, they have no grades to reference to.. so maybe.. I could still get a job. But what would i tell my possible employers about my school situation?.. its personal..

  They would ask you about the situation in school since you haven't been in school for a couple of months. However, they can reference the grades you had before you stopped school. (Since you say "the past couple months", I'm assuming you attended for most of the year)
