Is 4G faster than WI-Fi?

Should I get the new Ipad with Wifi+4g or Just Wifi?

  • Im looking into getting the new ipad and i was wondering should i get the Ipad with Wifi+4G which is $629 but just the 16GB, or should i get the Wifi version which i could get the 32 GB which is $599. Like if it was you, would you rather be able to get on the ipad wherever, but have limited space, or have a lot of space but only be able to get on it where wifi is?.... I have a IPhone 4, so i already have 3G, but what should i do?. Like does the ipad apps take up a lot of space?. Please help! Thanks!

    I went with the 32GB Wifi version because.... 16GB isn't enough for HD movies... which absolutely rock on the new iPad. Each are about 3-4GB. I can tether my iPad with my iPhone 4 if I need to use it outside of a WiFi area. I've tethered it twice in two months... and last month I only used 40MB of data on my phone for all purposes. 4G with another plan would definitely be a waste for me.

my mom has an ipad and she has had the 4g and wifi but she likes the just wifi a lot better cause it is a whole lot cheaper and better for apps and checking email and such. but if you are going to be using it in the car i would get the 4g and wifi and the 16gb is fine for my mom and she has like 150 apps on it lol
