Best Bachelors Degree for me? Engineering Technology? Networking and Telecommunications? Computer Science?

Best B.A for me? Engineering Technology Networking and Telecommunications Computer Science Information Technology --- Background on me: I will be going to a public University in Florida. I don't have any previous college experience and I have been out of high school for 10 years. I've decided to go back to school and get my B.A because I know without it I won't get past entry-level IT work(which is what I've been doing the last 6 years). Because I haven't been to school in so long, I have forgotten a lot of information, so I'm looking toward one of the easier options of the 4 degrees I've listed. I'm worried Computer Science or Engineering Technology will be to hard on me in the long run and that a basic Information Technology degree will be to "Simple" so I'm leaning toward the Networking and Telecommunications but would like some honest good advice. Which degree field that will get me the most money isn't that important. My fiance' makes $45,000/year so as long as I'm making something comparable that's fine with me. I guess when you make $24,000/yr. $45,000 is a lot to you and is something you could survive on easily haha. I also want to make sure whichever degree I go with, I will be able to find a job when I graduate. What are the job prospects like with a Networking/Communications degree?

Answer:
This is actually a really tough question to answer. No one can accurately predict what the job market will look like in 3 or 4 years so telling you which degree plan is going to have the best return on investment is difficult to do. You've got to choose a program that hold some level of interest for you and you can complete. A bachelor's degree doesn't make you a computer scientist, but it will allow you to enter a field that requires a baseline of knowledge. My personal belief is that of the four you've listed, there is no "bad" choice, and the best choice is found in where your interest lie. Pick the one that closely resembles the work you would do in your dream job.

The best choices are Engineering Technology and Computer Science. The other two suggestions do not have as clear a job path after you graduate.
