Why is the world so cruel and unforgiving toward the poor people?

IDK. I can't see how we can move 'forward' beyond our fears and beyond our current problems while working towards curtailing rights. Whether it's abortion rights, women's rights, voter's rights, etc, etc, etc....(sorry, I'm getting a little nauseous)...it's going away from empowering our citizenry, to oppressing them. I wish someone could tell me the conservative philosophy and how it is supposed to help us as a people....PLUS, how it justifies their paycheck. How can oppression be desirable from an employee of the population? Explain that to me.

The blind appear to be handicapped. But Almighty gives them some extra sensitivity in some other perception organ like ear or touch. Have you not observed this? The poor live close to nature and enjoy all that is part of it. Their minds breed on what is natural and less on what is artificial. They are probably the nature's ideal for what is living. Property separates people and poverty joins people. People of poverty enjoy more close personal relationships which are highly heartening. Their mutual understanding as a group is incomparable. It is we who are poor in such relationships.

Its Darwinist survival of the fittest played out in an economic system, an extension of our evolution, the only fair solution is a kind of socialism in the form of a resource based economy, the problem we have now isn't just an oppression of people but also the oppression of our planet, the nature of capitalism means the cheapest option out weighs the most ecologically sound option. Last year the USA spent $711bn on military expenditure and given that were all on the same planet and part of the same species every cent of that is a waste of money and resources, how is any of that gonna help us if we encounter a major natural disaster? We can take care of everyone, it is possible, but we grew too fast materialistically and left our minds in the past.

The world is cruel to the poor, because they are vulnerable. And on the animal level vulnerability is almost an INVITATION to cruelty and viciouness. Although neither party thinks there's anything untoward about it. I dont believe the adage that "they're only savage in order to eat food." Even pups play at savagery, because it's FUN
