How do you reset the video settings on the Xbox 360 Slim?

The xbox used to work fine but now the HDMI won't display a picture. Composite works fine, all the other ports can display the playstation, all the other cables can display the playstation. So I know its not the TV or cable. I've tried holding Right trigger and Y to reset the settings but nothing happens. I can't even set it to HDMI settings because when I plug the composite cables in the cable sent with the xbox purposely blocks the HDMI port.
