Facebook deleted comments ?

I posted something on Facebook and someone didn't agree and one thing led to another and the person threatened me and after I told him he shouldnt do that cause he can get in trouble so he deleted me and all his comments so now there nowhere to be found I checked my email and every thing and i can't find them I really need them is there a.way I can get them back
