How To Reduce Fat?

How to reduce body fat but not weight?

  • Right now I'm pretty happy with my weight of 82kg (181lbs). But I gained a lot of noticeable body fat in the process of gaining up to this weight. In what ways can I reduce body fat and yet still be the same weight? Is it possible to look skinny and healthy but actually be really heavy?

  • Answer:

Yeah, muscle weighs more than fat, so when you work out you should get trimmer but actually weigh more. Get a body fat percentage reader (about 20 bucks online) to see about how much body fat you have, then compare that with your weight. If you go to a vitamin/supplement store the staff there should be knowledgeable on which ones cut fat and bulk you up. You'd be surprised how catered they've become.

Weight training to increase muscle mass and cardio to burn fat. For someone who has no experience in weight lifting, they will be able to gain a decent amount of muscle while losing fat at the same time. Looking skinny while being heavy would just be having a low bodyfat percentage with a decent amount of muscle mass on you.

Cardio will burn the fat and weight lifting will replace it with muscle. do you think basketball plays are light weight? of course they're not! theyre reasonably heavy, but have a low body fat percentage.

Be healthy! Weight is just a number. It does not determine if your obese or fat or skinny. It determines how much you weigh. Wether it's muscle bone or fat.💪

NO HATE

Do some cardio. Like running. lift light weights.
