How do you convert your PDF files to an EPUB file without messing up the format?

Hi, I want to sell my ebook on Itunes and they need it to be in the EPUB format. My ebook is a pdf that is formatted perfectly and when i convert it to EPUB it gets all rearranged and the formatting is horrible! How do I change the formatt or edit the ebook into something that is not disgusting to look at? I tried both Ecub and Sigil - Ecub was all html and super un user friendly and Sigil would not install and kept giving me errors... Thanks!

It is complicated if you got charts and images in there. You might have to use illustrator to rasterize all that **** and then convert it using something like Callibre
