My iPod won't hold a charge?

How do i hold the charge on my ipod 4g?

  • I have had my ipod for about a year now and it use to hold its charge the whole day, but recently it has been dying half way through the day or less than that. Someone told me that if I let you ipod die all the way and leave it dead for 2 days then charge it up to half charge and let it die out again and then charging it all the way to 100% might fix the problem. Is this true? Will it work? If not, how do I get it to hold a charge again?

  • Answer:

If you double click the home button, you should have a list of your previously used apps come up. Click and hold one of them and then delete them all because when they are in that list it means that they are still running, and this drains your battery. Also, turn off the wifi when you are away from home so that it does not constantly try to search for wifi, as this wastes battery. Hope this helps!

If you double click the home button, you should have a list of your previously used apps come up. Click and hold one of them and then delete them all because when they are in that list it means that they are still running, and this drains your battery. Also, you can search for a few apps that can actually make your battery last longer. Just look at the ratings and make sure the app has mostly positive feedback. Also, turn off the wi-fi when none is available as that drains battery too.
