Debate: What's your opinion on the outsourcing of American Jobs?
-
Are you against outsourcing? Why? If not, do you support it? Why? What industries or companies may have an interest in outsourcing to the US, Japan, and/or South Africa? What barriers to trade would prevent an American company outsourcing to one of those countries? Do you think outsourcing would promote or hinder a healthy American economy? *I'm only trying to start a debate on outsourcing so that I can understand what's going on from multiple point of views. Feel free to give your opinion on any or all of the questions that you are comfortable with.

Answer:
hate it , its free traders selling American jobs for a profit. its a gutting of US labor. We need import taxes to stop it. It enslaves labor in other lands, who don't have labor unions to protect them. Its has shut down every shoe factory in the US, alone with TV, clothing, the list go on and on. Its stands to reason 300 million, cant compete with billions of people. when people can work for a dime. They flood you with they products and cant buy yours, so you fall to they level. no health care, no quit time, child labor, just anything goes because no laws

Hate it,because it sold out American workers .In cabinets alone,it has closed down 70% of shops here in California. Donald Trump says that it robs us of our economy and I agree. Greed ,and people that do not care about what it's done to our overall economy, are getting wealthy by outsourcing.

Against it, but a little bit of a 'you made your bed, now lie in it'. Because the American public refuses to have a strong Union, and if the work-force doesn't unite, there is no way, you don't get exploited in a big way, by super-rich looking to keep you at 70s wages forever. So start those Unions, sure the rich will call you names, but if the work-force stands together, you can create a power-block.

Outsourcing is essential where American manufacturing or service sector lacks core competencies or faces shortage of skilled workers.Outsourcing generally reduces the capital expenditure &operating expenses. But it is to be resorted to only when a company is running short of talented or skilled labourers.Otherwise ,it will increase unemployment or there is a fear of losing employment of existing employees.

Your going to find outsourcing does nothing but lower American's standard of living. The idea of cheap labor without controls or oversight just sends American jobs overseas. A few ppl profit, corporate owners, big investors, etc, meanwhile for ever 15 or so top mgmt that make money thousands lose their job. Oh, and and what Anantha said doesn’t exist. America has more educated qualified ppl than any other country. There is no real labor shortage. The only reason they ever outsource is to cut cost based on using dirt cheap poorly educated labor. But no employer will admit to it, because its bad PR.
