What are my chances of getting into Boston University?

• I have fallen in love with the school, but I'm not sure my credentials are great. I go to on of the top ten best high schools in Illinois according to U.S. News and World Report (if that makes any difference at all) and have a 3.33 U/W, 3.54 weighted. I so far have a 26 on my ACT with writing (I'm a junior), and plan to take it once more in June. I have been involved in Lacrosse, Best Buddies, stage crew, the student run talent show, peer helping, a teaching leadership initiative program, take voice lessons, have worked at a day camp over the summer, and work for a Special Education Recreational Program. I guess I am just mainly concerned about my GPA. I had a very difficult transition to high school (and will probably write about that in one of my essays) so fundamentally my GPA started out very low. But it has gone up every semester since then, so I'm hoping they take the upward trend into consideration.

  U should probably take the act again try getting a higher score. And work on your gpa. Make sure you have good grades in school. Other than that, I think ur set. Oh, and do some volonteer work in your neighborhood. That will better your chances.
