What is it like working in an American hospital?

What's it like working at American Eagle? And do you know anyone who works there? Help?

  • Ok so yesterday I found out that AE at the mall in my city is hiring people for a Sales Associate position.....but it says: How to Apply: walk-ins taken Monday- Thursday So I guess I have to go there and they'll interview me there or something to see if I could even get hired? I heard they do multiple interviews and at the end they get who ever is best. Should I take a resume? How should I dress? Also, do they really hire whoever has better looks? I heard they do this in Hollister and abercrombie...

    Working there is alright, it really depends on your personal preference. You have to have patience with people, and you have to be open to start conversations and be persuasive, and sometimes subliminally aggressive. Go to the interview, resumes are not necessary, but it doesn't hurt to bring one. Dress is actually a factor that determines if you're hired or not. You have to dress according to "American Eagle Style", best described as "preppy". Check out ae.com for some ideas. Looks don't matter. AE hires a wide variety of looks and sizes of people.

I'm assuming it's like working at any other retail place...you would probably have to pressure customers into buying the clothes. You probably have to spit the deals and such in their face even when the tell you that they don't need help.
