Georgia law can a scool bus pick up kids in the middle of a intersection?

  • My kids school bus has been picking up my kid up at the start of the intersection for 2 years and just now the driver is picking up my kid in the middle of the intersection. I was trying to find if there is a law that said that the drive is not aloud to park in the intersection to pick up kids. This is for the state of Georgia. The intersection is also in a housing area. If someone could find the Georgia code this could help a lot or or tell me why its okay for the bus drive to pick up kids in the middle of a intersection.

However if the school bus driver is now picking the kids up in a median area in the middle of an intersection, this is illegal for them to do because they run the risk of their bus causing an accident, or the children getting hit by a car just to get there. Call the local school district and get the buses number, route number, or event he name of the driver and report what is going on. They will take action from there.
