  • Steam account recovery without email please help!!? hey guys, i have a steam account and on my old laptop, my email was repeatedly hacked and hacked, so i closed it down and didnt really use steam anymore, cos all i played on it was team fortress 2. but anyway, my steam account was registered to that email, that was hacked and hacked. so now i have my new computer and bought MW3 on it, but now when i log onto steam (yes i know my account name and password) it says hello! we see that you are logging on from a new computer! and send me an email with a verification code to the email that was shutdown! and i have no choices of recovering it using that email cos its shut down! how do i un-register my account from that closed down email to the new email or how do i regain access to it without using that closed down email? it doesnt make sense?

You will have to deal with steam directly: https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php Create an account (this is not your steam login) and then make a new ticket. Provide them the details about you changing computers and closing your old email account, then provide them some proof such as login id, real name, birthday, secret question and answer, etc. If the email account is really disabled and no longer receiving emails, then you might have a small chance of them believing you and changing your email address to a new one. Important: A photo of your game(s) and their serial keys will probably be required as sufficient proof that you are the actual owner. ps. Get a quality firewall and virus scanner for your new computer. If your continuously getting hacked, it's highly likely that you have a trojan / key logger / sniffer on your pc.
