I need a pen pal to learn Spanish.

I want to learn French? Some help needed! :)?

  • So I already know a bit of Indonesian and how they speak they go: say the thing first then the owner, then the description, (e.g Pen my red= my red pen) how do they do that in French? Or is it the same as english. also, how long would it take me to learn French? If i study an hour and a half a day? last question, do I need a tutor? Or can I use internet webpages and sites? thankyou so much!

  • Answer:

French is built more like English. Some grammar points are backwards, but altogether, it's quite similar. Even so, I would suggest a tutor, because there are some tenses that we don't really have literal translations for in English and that can be kind of hard to grasp. Oh, and about the length of time it'll take you, it really depends on if you have an aptitude for languages. I'd think with an hour and a half a day, it'd go pretty fast though

In French, to say "my red pen" you would say "mon stylo rouge" which is "my pen red" The adjective goes after the noun it's describing.
