Why cant I download an Attachment?

Cant get my attachment to download from my email?

• I have a windows 7 laptop. I have internet explorer 9 or the newest one..not sure which. I use yahoo email and im trying to open an email i mailed myself with an attachment of a power point. My computer has 2010. At my college I thought they had the same stuff on there computer so I did a few power points there and then saved them and got into my mail and emailed ito myself as an attachment. Then the next day I tried to open through my computer at my house and it showed a button to download and I clicked it and then a little box pop up saying no virus detected and i pushed continue and usually the power point pops ups but nothing happen. So i thought maybe the school stuff was compatible with mine so I opened a power point I did on my computer at home and emailed it as an attachment the same thing I did before and tired to open it and nothing..help what do i do??
