Can my laptop record with a Hauppauge HD PVR?

Hauppauge hd pvr on my laptop(specs in qeustion)?

hey, i was wondering if the software of the hauppauge HD PVR gaming edition would work on my laptop. the specs of the software are PC systems requirements Processor Requirements (minimum): Dual core CPU 2.0GHz or faster Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit), Windows Vista or Windows XP service pack 2 (32-bit) Graphics with 256MB memory (or greater) Sound card CD-ROM drive for installing the HD PVR software Note: when playing back video recordings made with the HD PVR on your PC screen, a fast CPU meeting the specs noted above and at least 256MB of graphics memory are needed. my laptop is windows 7 home premium 64 bit RAM 3,00 gb (2,86 available) processor: intel premium CPU p6100 @ 2,00 GHz 2.00 GHz graphics card:intel(R) HD graphics thanks.

It could do some work yet its not meant for heavy loads....the site below is an alright site and their review is a good read..... http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_Dual-Core/Intel-Pentium%20Mobile%20P6100.html So bottom line major video capture it will put a strain on the CPU it may even be to much for the video graphics card due to the heat.
